Who we are

We are a nonprofit tennis program run by USTA Chicago and created in honor of Alan G. Schwartz, continuing his belief that tennis should be available to all.

Our program is funded and supported through partnerships with Midtown Athletic Club, the Schwartz family, the Midwest Tennis & Education Foundation, and USTA, alongside other private donors passionate about the possibilities of tennis. Together we combine community access with the expertise, standards, and reach of leading teaching institutions.

Alan G. Schwartz

Alan’s Vision

Alan G. Schwartz believed that when you give someone access to the game, you give them more than a racquet.

  • You give them a place to build confidence.
  • You give them a way to create independence.
  • You give them a door to opportunity.
